Healthy Sausage Rolls

Method:

Mix ingredients well, season to taste and add your favourite fresh or dried herbs – thyme, oregano and/or parsley work well.

Slice mountain bread in half length ways and spoon one roll of sausage mix along one side – just like making traditional sausage rolls.

Brush lightly with egg wash along the join, the roll tightly and press together to seal.

Slice into desired size and place onto a baking tray lined with baking paper with the join facing down.

Egg wash each roll and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.

Bake at 180C for about 20 minutes or until golden. Serve with a homemade sauce. πŸ‘ŒπŸ½
